We are a family of four with two kids, ages 14 and 12. My husband got laid off at the beginning of 2024, and then I got laid off at the end of the same year.
We are just about at the end of our savings. Most importantly, we are now deeply in debt and need to pay the bills so we can keep these kids going. We are hurricane survivors from Irma in 2017. We lost everything in that storm. We rebuilt our lives and now find ourselves with no work. These funds would buy us time as we struggle to keep our children stable.
