Dear Kind-hearted Souls,
I am writing this message with a heavy heart and desperate plea for assistance from those who have the means and compassion to help those in desperate need. My name is Richelle I am the only daughter striving to care for my elderly parents amidst overwhelming challenges. Life has become an uphill battle as I navigate through the financial burden of supporting my father, who suffered a severe stroke and recently endured two surgeries—one for a blood clot in his brain and another for a bone fracture after two tragic falls.
Without medical insurance, his hospital bills, daily treatments, and medications have consumed all my savings. As a self-employed individual, I now find myself without the funds to keep my small business afloat, leaving me unable to earn enough to cover even our basic expenses.
My mother also suffers from chronic health conditions, requiring regular medication and ongoing medical care. And the cost of living like rental fees, utilities, and daily necessities are piling up beyond what I can manage.
Adding to these challenges, my father's debts amount to $20,000, medical bills and the cost of living is a burden that weighs heavily on our already fragile financial situation. I am self-employed, but the constant medical emergencies have forced me to put my business on hold, leaving me with no income to support my family.
I have exhausted all other options, including personal loans (all of which were rejected) and borrowing from relatives and friends. Unfortunately, due to the financial strain, I have been unable to repay these loans, causing me immense guilt and further compounding my difficulties. I am now at a point where I must turn to the kindness of others to help me through this storm.
The loss of my only brother years ago has left me to shoulder this responsibility alone. I am deeply concerned about the well-being of my parents and the precarious future that lies ahead.
