TOO YOUNG FOR COGNITIVE DECLINE - Please Help

Back in March 2024, I took a promotion at work the ended up being extremely stressful. Around summertime, I noticed problems with my memory, but I equated it to emotional distress/lack of sleep. I recently found out I've been suffering from cerebral hypoxia (a lack of oxygen to the brain) which has contributed to my current cognitive decline. Essentially, I am in the beginning stages of developing dementia. I found a great doctor, but obviously healthcare isn't cheap. They told me they think we can reverse at least some of the damage, if not a good portion of it, but I need to see 2-3 specialists for more testing. It's going to be a process.
To be 34 years old and not be able to remember my friend's names or what I ate for dinner the night before- it's been scary. Not to mention depressing. I just want to get better, but I need medical treatment.
Life is life right now and I know so many people are struggling to make ends meet. I live paycheck-to-paycheck already and that just covers the basics.
I don't want to ask for a lot, but I probably need a few thousand to cover visits and testing. Not sure if there will be meds or anything, but can always cross that bridge later. For now I just want to feel hopeful that I can get my mind back. Whether its its 50 cents or $50, any donation would be beyond appreciated. <3
Thank you so much for taking time to read this and I hope you have a blessed day!
Sincerely, L |
