HELP !!!!! ABANDONED IN SC !!!!

I am writing this letter because I have run out of time and all other options... though still looking daily for work I am now, desperate.
Five years ago my soul mate and I decided we would take a leap of faith and move our family to South Carolina where his dad had moved to retire. We gathered up all the savings and drove our family down, the three kids and I set up house while my husband returned north to continue working. We knew it would be tough but, it was worth it. We would be apart for a bit but the kids would have a chance to grow up away from the city.
Two years in, my farther in law was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer. My husband, was devastated. He took a job in Virginia so he could be home on the week ends. It was not long before we realised his dad would not make it the year. My husband found work near home, spent every day with his dad , taking days when he could to sit at kemo and spend what little time he had left with him. Our beloved Bill passed in Octobre. My husband.... changed.
It has been two years, during which we have both lost our jobs, no more money to collect, the savings are gone, and my husband... Valentines week-end... walked away... not a word... just left.
I have in the weeks since, found that our bills were not being paid... my husbands depression apparently, became a massive drug habit and second life that I never dreamed could have even existed. Anything in my name I had been paying... I managed the utilities and food, cars and insurance, but, the house had always been something he took care of. It is not in my name.
I received a letter today from the bank... we needed to pay $9200. by the 28th of February...he never said a word. It would seem, he just walked away, of course, he left his family in the house... we have no where to go, I have used what little money I had to keep us afloat till now, no luck with jobs... and I am out of things to sell. I will have no lights or water after the 25th of March. So, you see, I am desperate. I don't really know what else to do... I need to stay afloat until I find a job.... Anything....will be appreciated.... I will of course keep searching for work. Please....HELP !!! |
