Help to keep my house

Hello. In October 2022 my parents died three days apart. Their will names my brother as executor. Since October I have received no information regarding the status of my parents estate, which is a small estate, from my brother. The only thing I've received from my brother are threats that he's going to sell my parents house, where my teenage daughter and I have live for approx. twenty years. I had not worked for 2022 so have very little money which came from closing out a retirement account. I am asked for $1000 to hire a lawyer to help me to remain with my daughter so she can finish her senior year at school. Please help me. Any amount you may be able to donate will be so very much appreciated. Thank you.
