life insurance cancelled just before husband died

| In 2009, husband had 1st heart attack, needed to be at job 10 years for benefits, got sick 9 years 2 months. We lost everything, house, savings, filed bankruptcy. He immediately got life insurance, so I would never struggle. The policy was cancelled without notice. I found out when he passed, there was nothing. We both always worked, I still do, but can never get ahead, He made 3 times what I do. 4 years later, I am still struggling just to pay my rent. Buying food no longer an option. I spend alot of time at church, volunteering and praying. 30 years of marriage but him dying suddenly at 58, was way too young. I have not even been able to save up to bury his ashes, they are still at the funeral home. His smile is what I miss most. My heart still hurts and my mind is so tired of worrying about how to pay my bills. Any help would be so appreciated. |
