Recently out of BK & Let Go From Job. NEED HELP

| My name is Jacob and I am 29 going on 30. Recently spent 2023 unemployed for about 8 months after 10 years of continued employment. Spent 6 months in a Ch. 7 Bankruptcy as a result of the job loss. I started working again end of 2023 and things seemed to get brighter at the end of the tunnel. However, my BK was recently discharged and I was let go from my job within days. I tried to go the route of a loan, but the BK is preventing me from it and it's not financially even smart. Currently, I am two months behind on my mortgage as of the BK. The moment I was out, I lost the job and didn't have many options with my lender. They will apply a short-term forbearance, but I still owe the past two months with interest and late fees. Credit is starting to get worse. Just got a letter from the city that they are going to shut my water off 4/15 as well. I am at a loss for words for how life went from so positive and bright, to dark and disgusting. I don't know what to do and really cannot sell my house due to value. I believe God helps those in need and believe that there are strangers who believe the same things. I do need a couple thousand to catch up and have cash on hand, but I understand that's not cheap money. I love you all and hope and pray that God answers. |
