Lost Job After 30+ Years, Need Funds to Work from Home Business

| I worked most of my life for a manufacturing company, the owners had a great deal of respect for me, I have always worked hard and cared about helping others in the company. Then the business was sold to a large corporation about 2 years ago. They were already an established corporation. So my services was no longer required and laid me off last March 2024. The last 2 years has been very stressful. At my age, my best option is to start an online business, I want to do Motivational videos and publications online, my ultimate goal is to do missionary type work to help others less fortunate to motivate and encourage. But my issue right now is funds to help me get that going. This is my first time asking for money or support, I have always done things on my own. This is not easy for me to ask, but right now I can use whatever help I can get to not just keep a float after losing my job, but to pave the way to get back to what I was earning, realistically that is only going to come if I am working for myself. I have references from my previous employer that I worked with for over 30 years if needed. I have filed for unemployment, but we all know that is not much to work with, and I am still waiting for that to be approved. |
