Hello,
First, thank you for clinking on my link. My name is Ashlee, and I am a single mother of 2 trying to get back on my feet.
My abusive husband abandoned me at the end of 2022, and I was left to raise my children and financially support them on my own. Because of this I had to move out of my apartment and move in with my mother. The laws here in NJ allowed me to keep my children in the same school district which is a 45-minute commute one way. Due to this, I have only been able to work a part-time shift which I was recently laid off from in February. Luckly I am eligible to claim unemployment. But it is barley enough to cover bills such as Storage unit fees, car payments, insurance, Food, Phone bills, etc. The commute killed one of my cars so far and my older car is on its way out “FAST.”
I recently heard about this site, and I am hoping that some can help with the following.
1. My children and I have been staying with my mother in a small 2 BR apart which has caused nothing but stress and frustration for my children and myself. The only available rentals in central NJ are over $3000 per month, I am asking for assistance with paying a few months in advance of rent and security deposit. This would benefit me because I would then be able to find a full-time role to cover life expenses on my own and I would also have less of a commute, which would allow us to allocate time to complete more productive projects.
2. Both of my cars are shot, and I would be truly grateful for help with purchasing a new one so that I can commute with my kids back and forth to school. Getting a loan is not an option for me currently because I am not working.
3. If all else fails I have recently been researching Amazon FBA and would love if someone could fund my startup and mentor me. This would put me in a position to not only cover all of the above, but also to become a Giver and not a Begger on this site.
