Hi there! My name is Carlos, and I'm fundraising for Aris Buliteanu, a sophomore in Houston. Aris has been given a wonderful opportunity to travel to New York City and perform in Carnegie Hall for the American Protégé International Music Talent Competition. But he and his family need help getting there.
Aris was born 24 weeks premature and has faced many challenges since birth, including being blind, autistic, and suffering from seizures. However, his love for music has never wavered. He started playing the piano at four years old, teaching himself to play Fur Elise, and began formal piano lessons at age seven with Katya Grinberg. Before he moved to Texas, Aris participated in numerous piano recitals in Boston. Since 2022, he has been a member of his high school orchestra and choir, where he practices and performs under the direction of Mrs. Thao Pham. This will be Aris's first time performing for the American Protégé. He loves singing his favorite songs, such as Waymaker, when he’s not playing the piano.
Unfortunately, between Aris's medical expenses and other family hardships, we cannot afford the cost of travel. We are hoping to raise around $5000 for travel and accommodations for the performance and for Aris to experience New York and anything beyond that will go to paying for Aris's medical expenses (specifically debt from hospital bills).
