To whom it may concern,
My family and I are a tough bunch. I have been with my husband for 21 years. Our 17th year we gave birth to our legacy. My husband nor I have grown up where things are easy. This has made us so strong so we are grateful for our experiences in this life. We moved to an area away from family/friends that are no longer for our path. Struggling to be where we are we have learned so much and have obtained a huge amount of gratefulness. Currently we are in government housing and are blessed. Definitely not what we wanted for our son at all. Through the recent past years he has learned so much being only 4. He has already been homeless. My husband and I started our own cleaning business in a mountain town having 30 AirBnB/VRBO. We were set financially along with mentally to have a child brought in. He was born and COVID occurred. In our state no vacation homes were allowed to allow rentals at the time. Our business had to be closed due to having to move back in with my Mother and Father 3 days drive apart. Our son 3 weeks old had to ride in a vehicle for 3 days. Arrived at my parents to then have my Dad pass away a week and a half later. My father was a truck driver and was able to be there for his grandsons birth where we resided, but didn't get to see him grow. My husband and I then had to help my Mother cope along with move out of her home she rented. We then had no choice but to come back to the state our son was born. Employment has higher pay where we reside. When arriving back we stayed in a low cost hotel paying weekly for almost one year. We ended up reaching out on social media landing an unfinished basement for way too much monthly. Cement floors and padded walls now. Still grateful along with blessed because we had a bathroom along with heat. It was a bad place to call home so we left with nowhere to go. Upon calling so many places we were blessed with living in a program that houses 4 families at a time. We were one of the families for 6 months. Every week you pack up your belongings at 7am bringing it with you to the next church for the week at 7pm. You must leave at 7am every day so the church can use their facilities only allowed to come back at 7pm for the night to sleep. Some churches had showers, but not all. Currently we are in government housing which took a lot of strength/will power to get in here. Just last Christmas we fell behind on rent due to more occurrences to try to keep us down (never works) and had to sell my husband's 2011 Chevy Silverado for $3,000 to not get kicked out. It was paid off and she was a wonderful truck. Able to pay rent we were now on bicycles to get groceries and etc. A neighbor let us use their vehicle while waiting on taxes to obtain another way of transportation. Receiving taxes a vehicle was purchased with a payment occuring monthly now as well as rent caught back up another $3,000. Whatever is for our path in this life we will take head on willing to work very hard for. Our legacy has kept his sunshine this while time and we give him so much love every day because that is what is important. I am on this website asking for financial help as well as some security for a little bit of time to ease us from the last mountain we climbed. We have ideas for a new business along with how we want people to perceive us. We crave more eternal knowledge to become happier while on this Earth and to spread our jay with whatever is thrown at this vessel. I want to thank you for your time as well as your consideration. From my family to yours, God bless.
