The last job I received compensation from was on February 23, 2024. They failed our agreement by discontinuing 2nd shift. Offering 1st shift positions with only 2 weeks' notice to prepare for this change after 6 years of 2nd shift. I been living on credit cards and pick up jobs, but several card accounts have cancelled, and others are getting close to their max. Its only about $42,145 debt reported but I'm struggling with this economy and job market and even began a business in November 2023 because the hours at the 2nd shift job had been lesser than full-time, consistently.
In addition to supporting my 76-year-old mother and my 14-year-old daughter, I have reached a low point that I cannot see salvation. The medical needs of my mother alzheimer's, daughter's sickle cell anemia and my diabetes have strained many funds.
I continue to find something to compensate funds for immediate expenses but either my small business or job market are accelerating in a timely manner.
