WOMAN VETERAN Need Help With Elderly Care

| I am a VERY HARD WORKING WOMAN VETERAN. This is a family that has helped many people and we have lived by believing in karma. You do the right thing because karma is a bitch if not! I watched my grandma so many times turn in purses and wallets without even looking in them, and so many other amazing positive things she has done. Come to find out there was usually a lot of cash, etc., and being brought up the same way! I have been a hard worker my whole life, but can't seem to get ahead. I was taught by my grandma and my mom who have always been hard workers themselves and the same about not being able to get ahead! I had to take care of my grandma until she passed away. It was a struggle financially. So I know what the process is and very expensive! Now my mom has been in a hospital in Washington since Jan of 2024. She had gangrene in several of her toes. Dr's are wanting to remove her toes. She doesn't want them removed but now the Dr's have deemed her having Dementia and unable to make her own decisions! Now the state has filed for guardianship! Which now we are on a time crunch and the court date is March 13th! If they get guardianship she will no longer have a choice or a say in anything. They could possibly have her toes removed without her consent, not to mention she will not be able to maker her own financial decisions and so much more! She is human and I feel she has the right to refuse to have a body part cut off, not to mention several body parts! That would be such a traumatizing decision to even have to make!! Don't you think??? Our country does not take care of our elderly like other counties do! It's so sad! This is a family of several generations, that has worked very hard and has not been on welfare. Well unfortunately, I am swallowing my pride, and I am asking for help now. If there are other kind and generous souls out there, willing and capable of helping, I am reaching out to you... Please Help!!! If you have legal, legitimate, ethical, ways I can work to be financially free as well, I would be interested in you teaching me!!! So many scams out there with that as well I have fallen victim to! Financially I can not pay for an attorney, and this will be quite a journey financially. Not to mention trying to move her here in Arizona to be with family and to be able take good care of her. So many people need help out there and I would love to be able to pay it forward one day! I have always wanted to start a living community for our homeless veterans and now it looks like I will be wanting to start one for our elderly too! God bless us all! |
