A Helping Hand

Hello, This is one of the most demeaning things I've ever had to do. As it's for my family's safety and well-being, I will stop at nothing. My family and I are reaching out with a heavy heart during a time of significant struggle. For 13 years, I poured my all into a company, climbing from delivery driver to store manager and playing a key role in its expansion. My dedication was unwavering, and I frequently worked 15-hour days to learn, grow, and contribute.
Unfortunately, my hard work was met with an unexpected setback. When a new general manager decided my experience made me "too expensive," I was let go. They immediately hired my replacement at half my salary.
Determined to control my financial future and provide for my family, I spent a year and a half studying day trading while still working at the company. I continued this path post-layoff, but recently, my emergency savings and trading capital were stolen in a sophisticated hacking scheme. This devastating loss has pushed our family to the brink of financial ruin.
The emotional toll has been immense. The prospect of losing our home and being unable to provide for our children is a terrifying reality. Any assistance you can provide, whether financial or through resources, would truly be a lifeline.
We understand the importance of taking responsibility and are actively selling assets to make ends meet. However, the burden feels crushing. We are not a family that seeks handouts, but sometimes, life presents challenges we cannot face alone.
In the past, we've extended a helping hand to several friends in need with room and board and financial assistance. One such friend is my struggling ex-brother-in-law. While we helped him navigate his health situation, we were left with limited resources. We believe in the power of community and hope that the kindness we have shown will be extended to us during this trying time.
