| I am doing this and it is hard for me .. but like they say you have to do what you can ..we have worked all our lives I am 63 and my wife is 62 my wife was in health care for over 35 years taking care of the elderly I've never met a caring loving woman until I met her. when in 2003 she was dealt a bad hand and had to go on disability. Results showed she had blown disks in her back and 3 in her neck, rheumatoid arthritis as well as osteoarthritis. We tried to manage the best we could on one income and savings .. doctors bills and medication were eating up our lives ..we had to leave our home and down size to a much smaller home in 2012. We out max our credit cards and we were trying to keep up. Then I was handed my walking papers from my job where I was employed for 15yrs. I was at the age of 55yrs old. No one was hiring at the time, I did pick up a job here and there but most was because of my age. They could hire younger and faster. Ann Marie's health was constantly progressing worse and need me home more to help her. I applied at a job and received minimal wage. she has had multiplie surgeries. The doctors said this is just going to get worse so she had two stimulators put in her spine. one had to be replaced 3 times for being move out of place, the doctors told her this is it no more. We found out 3 weeks ago the roof started to leak so i had some one to come look at it, but they wanted 38,000.00 so we all know that will not happen any time soon. So here we are today 48 thousand debt. living pay check to pay check. We do get some food stamps which help but not much. So if anyone wants to please lend a hand that would be greatly appreciate more than you know. |
