Caring for Dad Left Us in Debt, Please Help

Hello,
I am reaching out today to ask for your help. My husband and I are proud parents of our four beautiful daughters. Unfortunately, I am unable to work full-time due to the high cost of childcare and my responsibilities as a caregiver for my father, who has dementia.
Since my father’s diagnosis, our financial situation has become increasingly difficult. My father’s brother signed over his properties while he was already suffering from dementia, and we are currently in a costly and lengthly legal battle to regain access to his funds. It’s been two years, and the court process continues to drain our resources.
Despite my part time job and my husband working full time, our debts continue to grow. Our jobs provide income, but it is not enough to alleviate the financial burden. We do not receive any support from my father’s family, who either do not understand the situation or excuse my uncle’s actions. My husband has been an angel throughout this ordeal, but the stress is taking a toll on him.
I am now my father’s temporary conservator, but the process is ongoing. We need financial relief to cover our debts and provide some stability for our family during this difficult time.
Any contribution, no matter how small, would make a tremendous difference for us. Your support will help us manage our debts. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for any assistance you can provide.
With gratitude,
Steph |
