A Disabled Vet Burden

My name is Emkenson Amazan. I am a disabled veteran who used to stand proudly in uniform with a strong belief in honor and duty until a tragic incident, on the battlefield altered my life forever. An IED explosion that left me paralyzed and my hopes and aspirations scattered like broken glass.
After I was discharged from service due to health reasons I found myself with few choices ahead of me. However I held onto my dreams of starting a business. It was during this time that I discovered a mentorship program in the real estate sector—a source of optimism and guidance. They offered the prospect of building wealth that could benefit generations and they reassured me that my disability wouldn't stand in the way of achieving success. Despite lacking initial capital for a startup they recommended utilizing my credit cards as a viable option, for financing.
The dream quickly fell apart before my eyes as the software failed to meet expectations and left me disappointed with its performance.I found myself buried under a load of $15K credit card debt with interest piling up like a persistent foe.My VA disability payment barely covered the basics. Rent, utilities and food.My daughter Lily deserved better, than this situation. My late wife Emily always had faith in me.
Now I find myself alone with the sound of rain gently tapping against the windowpane and feeling the weight of obligations weighing heavily on me. If you're able to offer assistance in any way it would truly make a difference.I yearn to progress and leave this burden in the past.
Thanks, for taking the time to listen to me. |
