Help recover debts after an online cryptocurrency scam.
Hello, my name is Andriy, I am from Ukraine. In February 2023, I was the victim of a devastating online scam, losing $27,000 to a cryptocurrency scam. It all started when I was contacted by a girl named Anna who said she was from Hong Kong but lived and worked in Malaysia. After a few days of correspondence, she convinced me to invest in a cryptocurrency called TKN, claiming that it would quickly increase in price and bring significant profits.
Between February and April 2023, I invested a total of $27,077.52 believing it would change my financial future. Unfortunately, it turned out to be an elaborate scam. I converted my hard-earned savings, along with money borrowed from friends, into cryptocurrency via Binance and transferred it to a so-called TKN wallet on txncoin.com, which I thought I controlled. Now I found out that the site (and another similar one, gupai.me) is scamming a lot of people.
By April, my txncoin.com account showed a balance of over $800,000. But when I tried to withdraw even the initial amount I invested, I was told I had to pay a 20% "tax" - a whopping $160,264.31 - before I could access any of the funds. Anna continued to pressure me to find money in any way possible, pushing me even deeper into financial problems.
Unfortunately, by the time I finally realized the full extent of the scam, it was too late. Despite my best efforts, the police could not help.
I am currently $20,000 in debt:
$8,000 in credit
I borrowed $12,000 from friends
My salary is modest compared to my debts and it is difficult for me to pay back what I owe. I am asking for your help to recover these funds and alleviate the tremendous financial burden this fraud has placed on me and my family.
