From Homemaker to Divorced with Nothing, Working Hard Now

| Hello, I have had a very difficult year and I am hoping for a little help. In October of 2023 I was divorced by my husband and thrown out of my house despite having dealt with a chaotic household that I tried to bring peace to. There were things that I had to go to court for with no money so I became in debt for getting a lawyer and I was soon working in order to pay rent to my family and my lawyer bills. I also got into a really bad car accident this past October and totaled my truck. I did not get any money back from my insurance company because a month prior they wanted to charge more for what I was already paying and they said for what I want to pay now I need lower coverage. It took me a month to heal from the accident and I lost one of my jobs for having to miss due to my accident. I am now working in healthcare for many many hours but I don’t make enough to make ends meet sometimes. I truly want to succeed and make a difference in people’s lives yet I’m barely making it. Any help financially would be greatly appreciated and met with much gratitude. I’m very embarrassed to post this but I am in need. |
