My friend is really in a position right now, and could be arrested any day for non payment on his loans. Any help you can give would be great. The sooner this info gets out, the better. He can't afford to be arrested since he is his mom's care giver. NO CHECKS, NO FEES TO RECEIVE... ONLY PAYPAL AND DONATION LINK ALLOWED. NO EXCEPTIONS. OTHER INQUIRES WILL BE IGNORED.
Thank you.

My name is Derek, and I am organizing this fundraiser for my college roommate Tim. I have known Tim since our college days nearly 20 years ago. Really good guy.
Tim has recently fell upon some tough times which is really starting to affect his health with the amount of stress he is going through.
Tim owns a photography and videography business specializing in events such as weddings. He also does media transfers such as VHS to DVD. He is also the tech director for his church.
He has plans of moving to the Nashville area to pursue a media position there.
About five years ago, he was forced to put a lot of his work and his plans on hold as he took on the responsibility of caring for his mother who came down with significant health problems and hospitalizations (back surgeries, rhynovirus, and the big one, COPD). She spent 4 days on a ventilator one of her admits and almost didn't make it. She is lucky to be alive.
While Tim has been able to do limited work, his main priority has been tending to his mom's needs which has drastically affected his income. He is lucky to have an income of $800 a month. If that.
To add to the mess, he was severely scammed back in August of 2024 to the amount of near $5,000. All his bank could do was give him loans to help dig out of the scam. He has creditors calling him daily wanting payment which he can't make at this time.
I would like to see his loans of $5,500 be paid in full, and give him some financial peace of mind.
He also hasn't been on a vacation of any length for over 5 years. I would like to also see him be able to hire a care taker and take a much needed break.
I have a goal of helping him out with $10,000 to help him get his life back in order. He had a loan payment due today of $1,500 (Tuesday January 14), that he could not pay.
