I recently stumbled upon Cyberbeg.com while searching for ways to alleviate the financial burden caused by my recent battle with sepsis – a life-threatening infection that left me hospitalized for 23 days. Miraculously, I survived, but the aftermath has been a challenging journey.
As a sole provider working as an Uber/Lyft driver for the past decade, I have no safety net of benefits like paid time off or short-term disability. Despite my relentless work ethic, averaging over 50 hours a week, I find myself struggling to catch up on two crucial bills: my car payment and my gas utility bill.
My car, essential for my livelihood, is three payments behind, and the threat of repossession looms large. Although I've managed to make my monthly payments since returning to work in mid-February, I remain unable to clear the $2,190 arrears. The pressure from the bank is mounting, and time is running out.
Additionally, a sudden breakdown in my gas stove/oven last December resulted in a hefty $300 repair bill from SoCalGas, which I've been unable to settle. Now, facing a cut-off notice, the stress is becoming unbearable.
