Please Help! Spouse needs Surgery!

My husband is in serious need of a surgery for the repair of a massive hernia. We both are actively working, however our income has dropped drastically as this hernia keeps him from having the ability to work as he used to. The funding that we are asking for will be used to pay for his surgery and allow me to keep our rent and bills paid while he recovers. The surgeon has already told us that his recovery time could be 8 to 12 weeks. We have been told that most stomach hernias do not require immediate surgery. In this case, his hernia does require immediate surgery. We are in dire need of assistance because we rely heavily on both of us working to keep the rent paid. At this time not having the surgery is putting him at risk of a rupture. With the size of this hernia a rupture would put his life in danger. My income alone does not cover rent and food, this is why he continues to work even though it has become dangerous for him to do so.
