Senior (81) needs monetary help to repair storm damaged home.

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out today with a humble request for your support during a challenging time in my life.
I am an 81 year-old single male, living alone with my cat, Zippy, and have been struggling with a few recent medical conditions which prevent me from being able to do the physical work on some much-needed serious home repairs.
The only source of income I have is social security benefits. My home is old and in dire need of repairs due to this year's violent storms my roof began seriously leaking into my bedroom and bathroom. I spent all my savings to replace the complete roof, which has left me broke and unable rebuild the collapsed interior bedroom ceiling and floor, plus the whole ceiling, walls, floor and shower in the bathroom. The repairs are essential for my daily living and well-being.
Despite my best efforts to manage these challenges, I find myself in a position where I reluctantly need to ask for help. I have always prided myself on being self-sufficient and resilient, but my current medical circumstances have left me feeling overwhelmed and uncertain about the future. This is why I am turning to the kindness and generosity of others through this GoFundMe campaign.
