Hello, my name is Jessica. I am reaching out with a humble heart, seeking support as I navigate a challenging time in my life. I am a full-time substitute teacher in a public school and work overnight shifts at Amazon to make ends meet. I am passionate about education, and I hold both a Bachelor’s in Human Services and a Master’s in Education. However, despite my efforts, I am struggling under the weight of student loans, personal debt, and mounting bills.
My ultimate goal is to become a fully licensed teacher, making a meaningful impact on students’ lives. However, I am facing a significant barrier: passing the MTEL exams, which are required to become a licensed teacher in my state. Despite my dedication and multiple attempts, these tests have been difficult to pass, and the costs associated with each attempt only add to my financial burden.
Currently, my debt has grown to over $90,000 due to student loans, personal loans, credit card bills, and car payments. While I work hard every day to make ends meet, my income is often just enough to cover basic expenses, and I am unable to pay down my debt as quickly as it accumulates.
Your support could help me in two crucial ways. First, by, stabilize my finances. Assistance with my debt payments would provide immediate relief, allowing me to focus on essentials and regain stability over the next few months. Secondly, by achieve my teaching certification. With financial help, I could focus on preparing for the MTEL exams without the constant stress of my debt hanging over me. Passing these exams will allow me to work in my dream job and make a lasting difference in students’ lives.
To be in my 30’s, I sometimes feel like I am behind where I should be in life, but I am committed to moving forward. I want to give back, and I know that with a little help, I can overcome these hurdles.
