Totally Blind and Scammed: Please Help Me Rebuild My Life

Hello, I am Steven, and I am totally blind. I’ve always relied on trust and honesty when navigating life, because my disability requires me to place faith in others in ways that most people never have to. Recently, that trust was betrayed in the most devastating way.
I began what I thought was a manageable investment of just US$200. However, I soon found myself pressured into adding more funds twice, a total of $5,000. Then I was told that I am allowed to withdraw. After thinking that I would receive some money, I was told I needed to pay yet another fee, and in my desperation to recoup my funds, I continued to comply. This cycle continued 3 times until I had put in a staggering $27,000 in total, which was everything I had.
Being totally blind already presents countless challenges every single day. Simple tasks often demand help and trust in others. When someone took advantage of that trust, it felt even more painful and isolating. I deeply regret not investigating further, but I had no idea I was dealing with a scam. If I had known, I would never have put in so much money.
Now, I’m left with no savings and a heart weighed down by regret. I humbly ask for your support, no matter how small. Every donation will help me cover immediate living expenses, seek any legal counsel I can find, and hopefully start rebuilding my life piece by piece.
